"Wesley" the Weasel

Signalment:   6 yo neutered male ferret

History:   Wesley presents with a two week history of increased lethargy.  His owner reports that it is difficult to wake him from sleep.  No other problems have been noted.  Appetite, bowel movement, and urination are all normal.  Wesley is examined by a veterinarian yearly and is current on his rabies and canine distemper vaccines.  He lives in a large cage and is only allowed out under supervision.  He is fed a commercial ferret food every evening. Wesley is the only pet in the house.
