Why do words in italics run into the words after them?

If you are having a problem viewing words in italics, it is because you are using a Mac. For some reason, if you run Netscape for Macs, Netscape does not insert a space after a word in italics. There is a space programmed into the code, but the Macs ignore it. There's nothing you can do about it (except switch to a PC). All words in italics will run together like this last sentence. Sorry.
