Patella luxations can occur in all breeds of dogs, and there have been increasing numbers of cases in cats.  Medial luxations are more common than lateral luxations in all dogs and cats.  Although we see lateral luxations more commonly  in large breed dogs than we do in small breeds or cats, medial luxations still make up the majority of all cases seen.

This case can be accessed either by the index on the left, or via the navigation at the bottom of the page.
