Chest films were taken revealing no abnormalities. Radiographs of the affected limb revealed a closed, simple, short oblique, diaphyseal fracture of the radius/ulna that was displaced craniolaterally. The owner was advised that surgery was indicated for optimal repair and the dog was admitted for hospitalization.
