and was concerned with some form of proximally located hindlimb lameness in both hindlimbs.  The colt is approximately 1 out of 5 degrees lame in the right hindlimb but had a marked short choppy hindlimb gait bilaterally. The horse had mild effusion of the right metatarsophalangeal joint capsule.
