                                          EXAMPLE 2

This  horse was presented being extremely resistant to examination of the oral cavity and  to palpation below the right ear.     Ophthalmologic examinations and that of both ear canals revealed no abnormalities.  Most significantly this horse exhibited resentment with rider on board and collected.  He became agitated and would stick his tongue out to the left side of his mouth. He also exhibited lateral head shaking when collected and would continue this behavior when stopped. Initial xrays were equivicable.  The bone scan revealed increased uptake of the 3rd cheek tooth.
