The Medical Imaging Resource Center (MIRC) was developed by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) for the purpose of sharing radiographic images and information.  The MIRC software provides an extensive and easily searchable database that allows users to both retrieve case information, and add new cases.

The University of Pennsylvania is the first institution to apply this software for veterinary use. It will allow faculty and residents to easily expand their collection of online teaching files, as well as provide a usefull study tool for fourth year students in preparing for the boards.
