This button is the "Previous" button. You select this button to return to the previous document in the section you are reading or to return to a previous menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen now (if necessary) and select the "Previous" button and you will see that it will return you to the document you just read about the "Next" button.It is important to realize, however, that this button is not a "smart" button. It doesn't actually keep track of where you are going or where you just came from. It is programmed to send you back to one specified document and only that document.
On the other hand, the "Back" button that comes with the browser is a "smart" button. Because of the more advanced programming in the browser software, it can keep track of where you just were and send you back there when you select it.
