LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE EXPECTED
For each term a student should be able to :
*Identify the location on the cadaver, and diagrams from "Dyce".
*Define the term.
*For muscles you should know the origin, insertion, function and innervation, as well as possible antagonists and synergists.
*For vessels and nerves know what they supply and innervate (type of), respectively.
*For organs, know function, role and general structure.
*Know key differences between different species in regards to the term, such as attachment, shape, function, or whether it even exists.

Use test modules to get a feel for the practical exam format.

You can print out these terms and use the print out to take notes while you dissect your specimen. Students in the past have found this a useful way to familiarize themselves with the terms.
