goin’ on here? Interspecies InteractionAnimals of different species do interact socially. Horses can appear to obtain companionship from animals other than horses. For example, some horses when separated from other horses can appear to enjoy the company of am goat, a chicken, a rabbit, or even a cat. This is sometimes recommended for relief of stereotypes (neurotic-like behavior) of isolated horses. |
