LARGE ANIMAL EMERGENCY SERVICE HISTORY

A 5 year old cross bred mare was found in her field with a severe laceration of the right forelimb. The referring vet bandaged the leg to minimize the hemorrhage and administered Gentocin and Phenylbutazone prior to shipping her to an equine referral clinic. The horse is stable on arrival and is willing to bear weight.
