Hepatoid Gland Epithelioma
(PERIANAL GLAND EPITHELIOMA)

A tumor of low grade malignancy characterized by a preponderance of basaloid cells with few cells showing hepatoid gland differentiation.

Gross Appearance:
Cannot be differentiated from other hepatoid gland tumors.

Histology:
•Similar to the histopathologic changes seen with sebaceous epithelioma: 
•Preponderance of basaloid reserve cells 
•Interspersed hepatiod cells 
•Basaloid reserve cells may show marked mitotic activity 
•Little nuclear atypia
