Trichoblastoma

Gross Appearance:

Histology:

Trabecular
•Tumor cells are fusiform 
•Islands of neoplastic cells vary in size
•At the periphery, neoplastic basal cells are columnar, and appear palisaded adjacent to the basal lamina
•Central portion of the mass is occupied by narrow, elongated cells with an interwoven pattern
•In the central area of the lobubules the spindle cells may have a more extensive eosinophilic cytoplasm

Spindle
